“An Orcas Island Adventure to Remember!”
Park your car in Anacortes and hop aboard any ferry you choose without the need for a reservation or enduring a long wait in line. Your friendly West Sound Water Sports Captain, Rolf Eriksen, will pick you up at the Orcas Ferry Terminal and take you for a 2 or 3-hour cruise around gorgeous Orcas Island.
We then drive you to Eastsound Village where you can visit one-of-a-kind Island shops or enjoy a leisurely lunch or picnic lunch. Let us take you to Moran State Park for a picnic lunch at the beautiful Cascade Lake day use area or venture to the top of majestic Mt. Constitution and enjoy stunning views. As soon as your Orcas Island adventure is complete, we bring you back on a relaxing, scenic late-afternoon or early-evening ferry.
The Fun Continues! – You can always extend your Orcas Island adventure by one or two days and take advantage of kayak adventures, bike rentals or camping while staying at a first-class accommodation of your choice.

Jones Island (Wasp Islands)
Jones Island features a beautiful loop trail (a 20-minute walk) down the center of the Island then around the western shore. You’ll also find a 188-acre marine camping park with 25,000-feet of saltwater shoreline on the San Juan channel. The park on this Island has 24 primitive campsites.
Yellow Island (Wasp Islands)
Yellow Island is among the most colorful of The Nature Conservancy’s preserves, long known to passengers aboard Washington’s San Juan Islands ferries for its dramatic wildflower displays. The small island’s springtime floral display is greater than that of any similar-sized area in the 170-island San Juan archipelago. There are well-kept trails on Yellow Island, but know that there is no food allowed. There are no bathrooms, smoking is not allowed, and there are no picnics permitted. Access is only by small beachable craft or kayak.
If biking is your interest, then Lopez Island is an ideal destination. Along with being the Island with the least amount of hills, it has two bike rental shops – Village Bicycles in Fisherman’s Bay Village and Lopez Bicycles across from the Islander Lopez Marina. Lopez Island also has the most public beaches of any of the islands. Fisherman’s Bay Village offers popular shops that include a bookstore, as well as two exceptional bakeries. West Sound Water Sports lands at Islander Lopez Marina, only a 20-minute walk from the Village!
Take advantage of fine dining and one-of-a-kind Island shops. This Island is renowned for its Whale museum and galleries. Most coffee shops offer wireless, while a number of restaurants boast world-class chefs. There is a bus available that can take you anywhere on the Island for $5.00. You also have the option of using a day-pass for as many rides and destinations as you want for just $15.00. From the Pelindaba Lavender Farm to the De Haro Hotel in Roche Harbor, there is something for all interests.

Camping Trip to a State Park Island
We take you to one of these gorgeous, picturesque islands and pick you up the next day.
We take you by water to the famous Rosario Resort and community with access to the grounds via the Rosario Marina. Walk off and tour the 1906 Robert Moran Mansion built by the Seattle ship builder and former mayor of Seattle. Moran purchased over 7000 acres on Orcas Island and completed the construction on his famous Arts and Crafts style mansion in 1909. Stroll the grounds and have lunch or refreshments in the Mansion dining room or the Cascade Bay Café. An historical presentation is given daily at 4 PM during the summer months. The presentation given by Christopher Peacock gives a flavor of the times of the Moran Family and touches on highlights of Orcas Island history!
